It is possibly the most photogenic country on Earth. Perhaps, in summer. In winter, Bergen is a city (town?) shrouded in rain. From the moment we landed, after more than 24 hours of travelling, till the moment we departed, we were graced with bursts of rain, and momentary patches of blue sky, which was, without fail, soon replaced by gray clouds. Despite this, the city still maintained its charm.
The city is based around a harbour, where there is a beautiful row of shops called Bryggens. There's a lovely fish market by the harbour with the sweetest prawns ever (says mum, at least).
